I prefer to layer sheers that are semi-sheer to nearly opaque. Also, pairing something sheer on top with bralettes and higher waisted items can help break things up a bit visually.

The Hook & Eye Dress adds sheerness to your look while breaking up the lines of the body in an appealing way. It also creates a high-waist, which has the added plus of lengthening the look of your legs.

The Nostalgia Top combines sheer details with a lower-lined waist and the vertical hook & eye tape and darts that add extra interest.

Longline Bralettes are also great for layering with sheer tops.

Never underestimate the daily wear of semi sheer knits with bralettes Even just the subtle sense of sheerness in a basic top can convert a lingerie look to a ready-to-wear look.

Scoopneck Lace Top available in Ivory or Rose. While Ivory creates a fairly sheer look, Rose creates a subtle semi-sheer look. Dropped-armhole sleeves keep this top from looking too overtly feminine.
